Hugo Boss and Russell Athletic announce the second season of their collection with five NFTs in Milan with a thrilling baseball event. The event was opened by Gigi Hadid and closed by TikTok sensation, Khaby Lame.
Hugo Boss X Russell Athletic decided to do things a little differently to launch a new collection. The unconventional fashion show brought a marching band and created a full-blown high-school baseball game environment.
To announce their collaboration, Hugo Boss X Russell Athletic lit up the Kennedy Sports Center, Milan on September 22 to showcase the collection through a “physical” experience for the 1300 attendees. The live event encompassed both the thrill of the game and the spirit of the group competition.
The baseball-themed event featured mascots, food trucks, and cheerleaders while renowned faces like Gigi Hadid, Joan Small, Cindy Bruna, Irina Shayk, and Alton Mason cat-walked the field. Additionally, the event featured social media stars including Benji Kroll, Avan Jogia, Phi Khadra, and Chiara Ferragni. German athlete, Alica Schmidt, made her modeling debut at the event.
The collection combines Russell Athletic’s unique sportswear aesthetics with Hugo Boss’s innovative tailoring technology to deliver a new sportswear style. However, the organizers’ unique approach to the event and the unique style of the collection weren’t the only things stealing the show; to celebrate the collection, TikTok launched five unique college jackets with the hashtag “#BOSSXRussellAthletic NFT”. You can win one of the jackets by posting “#BOSS Moves ” on TikTok. You can win the jacket both as a physical item and as a digital garment while owning the unique NFT.
